What Is CrossFit?

CrossFit Faction is a broad, general and inclusive strength and conditioning programme
catered toward every individual’s needs, aims and goals.

Our programming is to prepare for any physical contingency no matter what your sport,
goal or even whatever life throws at you, in other words preparing you for the unknown and
unknowable.

Every workout is universally scalable to accommodate for everyone, no matter what your
circumstance, age, ability or fitness. Meaning, whether you’re a professional athlete, an
amateur boxer or a grandparent you can compete, partake and reef the benefits from a well
structured programme that pays attention the 10 aspects of fitness and ensuring everyone
trains through functional movements that are constantly varied of which are performed at
high intensity.

We believe that developing all round fitness, requires you to be all rounded in the 10
aspects of fitness, this will not enable you to cope with whatever life or your sport throws at
you, you will excel at them.

CrossFit Philosophy of Fitness in 100 Words

“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep
intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat. Practice and train major lifts:
Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J and snatch. Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics:
pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits,
and holds. Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast. Five or six days per week mix these
elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the
enemy. Keep workouts short and intense. Regularly learn and play new sports.”
